Guess what? I just had a Pat-sighting! I was standing in the hall near the elevators, talking on my phone, and I heard a voice say, "hey, there's Annuh..." as a gurney rolled by! Her eyes were focused and everything! She even smiled (sort of). I had enough time to tell her that we love her before the doors closed and she rolled out of my sight.
She looks really, really good.

Wonderful!!! So, Patwente is an overachiever, even with surgery.
Yeah, we're in the room now, and she's doing great - going to have a popsicle. Her hair looks pretty cool.

Wine popsicles! There's an idea, Beth. If we had only thought of it earlier, we could have whipped some up and sent them to Pat via Chuck and Claire.
So, Claire, do you have a room number for Pat? Do they know yet if she will be coming home tomorrow, or will they make that decision later?

I've been trying to decide when I should call Chuck for news, then remembered the blog. (My life is blissfully blog-free except for Pat.) I told you everything would be fine, but it's still wonderful to hear that I was right about something so important. Make everyone dance to your tune---
