You know it was a good party if you wake up the next morning on a sofa, covered with coats, and there's a chihuahua asleep on your chest
We had a great time at Tommy's in San Antonio for New Year's Eve. We'll post photos when he sends some over. I just love my family. So fortunate to have them. Here's to a wonderful year for all of us.

Yes, it was another successful New Years Eve Party at the Wente Rancho (not so Grande). Here's the rest of the story. I was outside talking to Eric, Brittany, Mark(next door neighbor) and Chet(from down the street), when at 2:30 someone decided it was time to adjourn, so I went inside and found Patty lying on the den couch watching TV. The conversation went something like this.
Are you o.k.?
I'm fine, just watching TV.
Oh, what's on?
It's a Law and Order marathon. It's my favorite show.
Do you need anything?
You're just full of questions, aren't you, no I'm just fine.
You know there's a bed in there with your name on it. You may be more comfortable in there.
Really, I'm just fine. I've got the remote control for the TV right here(points in the general direction of the coffee table) and Tootsie and I are quite comfortable.
How about another blanket?
That would be nice. And would you turn off that TV for me?
