It's alive!

Hi, folks. It's me. All is well. Loving the morphine, but difficult to type -- or maybe it's the IV in my hand. Thank you for the good wishes, fun stuff, and love. More later.

Love, pwent

Um, so, what about the inflatable leg warmers? And if they're giving you inflatables, don't they go higher north?

So, before she could talk she could type. A miracle! Welcome back to the other dream world. While you were doing your work in that other world, Bush resigned because he was caught in the janitor's closet with Dick measuring to see who was bigger. Dick lost the bet so he HAD to resign out of embarassment. Due to a left wing coup, Hillary is now in charge. Iraq ran out of oil and we w/drew our troops. Toyota has taken over the world and the earth is beginning to cool. Good work.
See you soon we hope.

Hello, dear. Carnitas and homemade corn tortillas at my house tonight. Wish you were here,

PS: I've sent care instructions to Claire and Chuck. Now you're not the only person who knows what a neurotic worrier I am.

Ms. Wente, if you are able to type and call your office the day after surgery (yes, they told me), you are not squeezing that morphine pump enough! Seriously, glad to hear that you are doing so well, and looking forward to the next report, maybe from home? Keep us posted.

Well, keep that IV in, whatever you do. Hey, I hear the hospital is pretty nice -- do they put vodka in the jello at dinner time?
